Our senior football team had a great win over Stratford/Grangecon in the County Senior Football League in Kiltegan on Tuesday evening, the final score 2-17 to 2-4.  Fielding a near full strength team for the first time this year with our two Co. players Seanie and Rory released from county duty and Jacko Dalton returning after a long injury, PJ Daly also re-joined the team after county minor duty, we were almost at full strength and we played some good football at times.  The sending off of two Stratford/Grangecon players and a serious injury to another of their players, Mark Campus did not help their cause.  We wish him well and hope he will be back soon on the playing field. Our scorers on the evening came from; Seanie Furlong 2-6,  Michael Foley 3pts, Stephen Farrell and Ronan Byrne 2pts each, Rory Finn, Padraig Keogh and Brian Cullen 1pt each.

Our junior football team continued on their winning ways, when they beat Annacurra in the South Junior Football League in Annacurra on Thursday evening on a score line of 3-13 to
2-6, after been level at half-time 1-4 each we played some great football in the second half and scored some great scores in spite of the very wet conditions and went on to win the match.  Darren Hobson, Padraig Keogh, Brian Cullen and Liam Kavanagh contributing to our scoring.  To date we have only lost one match in this league.
